UV Sterilizers - Fully Installed & Guaranteed

UV Sterilisation

Bacteria are common in water, although most types are not dangerous. However, some bacteria can be harmful when present in drinking water. Some of these bacteria will almost certainly contaminate water, while others might but this contamination is unclear. Water containing e-coli (also called faecal coliform) is certainly contaminated and this water would need to be sterilised before it is safe for human consumption. The best way to remove e-coli and other harmful bacteria from your water is to install one of our ultraviolet (UV) water sterilizers.

UV sterilisation from Nature’s Water

By purchasing a UV sterilizer from us, you will soon enjoy drinking water that’s 100% free from bacteria and viruses. Not only will we supply the system; we can also call around and install it for you if you wish. These callouts are free of charge and, if required, we can also assess your premises for location and workings of the system. Another service we provide is water testing, where we analyse a sample of your water at our laboratory to check if there are any problems other than e-coli.

What contaminants do UV sterilizers remove?

There are no known micro-organisms that are completely resistant to UV, which is known to be highly effective against bacteria, viruses, algae, mould and other contaminants that cause most major waterborne pathogenic diseases. Of the enteric viruses that affect water quality, hepatitis and legionella pneumophila can survive for a long time around chlorine but are eliminated instantly by UV treatment.

UV sterilisation can remove many contaminants with 99.99% efficiency or higher, helping to minimise the risk of waterborne diseases such as:

  • E-coli
  • Typhoid
  • Gastroenteritis
  • Cholera
  • Tuberculosis
  • Legionnaires disease
  • Flu virus
  • Polio
  • Hepatitis A

Add-Ons- UV Sterilisation

Many customers who purchase UV sterilizers will also pick up one of our under-sink reverse osmosis systems, as the two complement each other ideally to deliver bacteria-free water to your home or business so that you always have safe, crystal-clear water from your sink. Pre-filtering is recommended prior to installation of the system.
